ABOUT GALINTRENZ
It is a combination medicine that is used for the treatment of neuropathic pain(a condition of an abnormal painful sensation in different body parts due to nerve damage). It calms the damaged or overactive nerves by acting on the brain, thereby decreasing the pain sensation.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
It is better to take at bedtime or as directed by your doctor.
It should be swallowed whole with a glass of water.
If you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. Do not take two doses at one time. Finish the full course even if you feel better.
DRUG INTERACTIONS
Certain medicines can interfere with GALINTRENZ if taken at the same time. Always inform your doctor about all the medicines you are taking
In particular, if you are taking medicines for brain-related disorders like lorazepam, antibiotics like chloramphenicol. etc.
If you are taking Norco(acteaminophen, hydrocodone)
Let your doctor know if you are taking these medicines.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
PRECAUTIONS
PREGNANCY: Do not start or stop taking GALINTRENZ without doctor’s advice, and tell your doctor right away if you become pregnant
BREAST FEEDING: It is recommended not to breastfeed. during the treatment as it may harm the newborn baby
LIVER & KIDNEY: If you have or had history or evidence of any related diseases, please consult the doctor before taking medicine.
ALCOHOL: Consuming alcohol while on treatment does not effect the way it works. But it is advised to avoid as it may increase the risk.
DRIVING: If you experience drowsiness and visual disturbances altered vision) after taking GALINTRENZ, it is advised not to drive or use medicine.

If you are allergic to GALINTRENZ like experiencing bumps and swelling in the skin, itching, difficulty in breathing
If you are experiencing vision problems, dizziness and sleepiness. Be caution if you are elderly patient
If you have an existing medical condition such as liver or kidney problems, fits, heart related problems, low level of vitamin B12
If you experience a low mood or mood changes
If you have drug or alcohol addiction
Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor because it may cause withdrawal symptoms.

Include food rich in vitamin B and D in your diet.
Exercising regularly helps in improving overall health and combating pain.
Meditation and yoga can help lower stress, decrease pain
